Manchester City - NEW RECORD!

With the 4-1 win over Wolverhampton, Man City is unbeaten for 28 games and have 21 consecutive wins. This is 7 wins more than the previous record of 14, which Preston managed in 1892 and Arsenal in 1987. This might be a bit confusing as Man City had a run of 20 consecutive wins in 2017 but that included a penalty shootout win over the Wolves.

The last defeat was against Tottenham Hotspurs back in November 2020 and the record now stands at 28 games unbeaten, 25 wins, 3 draw and 0 loss with 21 consecutive wins. Scored 68 and conceded only 9.

Bayern Munich has the European record of 23 consecutive wins in 2020 and from what we can tell, bye bye Bayern!
