Highest paid footballers 2020-2021

To no one’s surprise, Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo are at the top the list of the highest paid soccer players in the world.

Messi resolved his contract negotiations with Barcelona and landed a deal worth $126 million while Ronaldo took the second spot at $117 million in his deal with Juventus. Third on list is no surprise either and as the young superstar and Brazilian captain earns $96 million with Paris Saint Germain.

The most exciting player on the list is still Kylian Mbappe, teammate with Neymar and that PSG signed back in 2017 as the new rising superstar of Europe. Mbappe earns $48 million which is a lot better than the $28 million he earned the first year with the club after leaving Monaco. However, Mbappe´s contract ends in 2022 and it is expected he will get a lot better deal than the current one and maybe even better than Neymar.
