ADO Den Haag is to be taken over by the American company Globalon Football Holdings. ADO Den Haag was demoted to first division last season and have been looking for an investor to help them solve their financial problems which previously have resulted in penalty points two times by the Dutch Football Association.

“GFH will make its ‘international experience and resources available to ADO Den Haag, giving the club new opportunities on and off the pitch” says the club.

The acquisition will become final once KNVB has approved the transaction. The Chinese company United Vansen has been the majority shareholder owner of the club since 2015 but has refused to put money into the club. GHF already have inter4st in the Benelux region with ownership of Belgian club Wassland-Beveren and also has a significant stake in the premier club, Crystal palace.

ADO Den Haag is currently in 11th place in the first Division.
